Justin Raimund Wickman

Justin is an actor, writer, and producer based in Los Angeles, CA. Growing up in a small coastal town in rural Oregon, Justin, instead of spending too much time in the frigid waters of the Pacific, chose to do theatre. His first part, George in Our Town, irrevocably hooked him into the world. He then felled enemies on the wrestling mat, traveled over hill and under hill to the Willamette Valley, battled Smaug, and got to the University of Portland relatively unscathed to study acting with Mindi L. Logan. He has been working steadily in theatre, film, and television ever since.

In the summer of 2014, Justin had the distinct fortune of shooting a short film with his long-time friend, Caitlyn Larimore. Larimore penned, Executive Produced, and starred opposite Justin. The short was an official selection at a number of festivals and received Best Short Film from the Oregon Independent Film Festival, as well as the South African Film Festival.

Justin was an ensemble member of Theatre Vertigo from 2009 to 2012 and has been in many productions with them, including boom99 Ways to F*** a Swan, and Cloud 9. Other favorites include The Trestle at Pope Lick Creek (defunkt theatre), Kid Simple: A Radio Play in the Flesh (CoHo Productions), and As You Like It (Portland Actor's Ensemble).

Justin was very lucky in the spring of 2012 to do one of his top 5 shows: Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, with Action/Adventure Theatre. He was fortunate to work on this project with many fantastic people, including long-time friend and collaborator Tamara Carroll, friend-since-college Pat Moran, and the hugely talented Dainichia Noreault.

He was a founding member of Superego Sketch Comedy and has been a writer and actor in every show since its creation by the incomparable Lizz Leiser (www.theserioustheatrecollective.com/) in 2004.

Additionally, Justin has worked in a variety of on-camera and voiceover projects, including a guest-starring role on Leverage (directed by Jonathan Frakes!), starring roles in features, shorts, commercials, and industrials.

Outside of working, Justin enjoys writing stories and poetry, reading lots of books, wearing sweet hats, backpacking, and running amok with his dog-friend, Princess Leia. He also likes chocolate chip cookies.
